Community Manager

Hashflow is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange, built from the ground up with first principles. Our mission is to build the most seamless decentralized trading experience, and to allow traders to access products previously impossible in DeFi. We are looking for talented individuals to join our fast paced team to help us on this mission!
We are a small fully remote team that likes to move quickly so we need someone that is independently motivated and a proactive communicator. You must be able to collaborate with other team members remotely to accomplish tasks with limited oversight. If you are excited about working on the most cutting edge problems in DeFi with some of the brightest minds in the industry, this is the role for you.
We are looking for an experienced Community Manager to help us generate awareness and grow our community. As a member of an early stage team, you will have ownership and help manage the lifeblood of the Hashflow ecosystem to deliver long-lasting impact for the company.
  • Coordinate the effort of managing Hashflow’s online presence across multiple channels
  • Moderate Discord and Telegram, and interact with the community to increase positive engagement
  • Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive and meaningful interaction with users
  • Provide engaging content in a variety of forms, such as text, images, memes, videos, for social media accountsCreate methods for finding and tracking community feedback
  • Work with Product and Marketing leadership to instill a “growth mindset” throughout the organization, and convert community engagement into company business opportunities
  • Keep current on trends and happenings across the broader crypto ecosystem
  • Organize and manage ambassadors and minority languages groups
  • Coordinate with and manage existing community managers and build common strategies, divide responsibilities and coordinate in order to secure continuous community engagement
  • Minimum 3 years of community management or social media experience
  • Experience in supporting and launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, writing email newsletters)
  • Hands-on experience with brand management through social media platforms
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics, and to utilize those metrics to assess progress and performanceExtremely personable and ability to maintain a great vibe
  • Know-how in operating Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Medium and other social channels
  • Naturally-driven curiosity to benchmark and adapt to new trends
  • Strong project management and execution—ship with high quality in a fast-paced environment
  • Native English speaker
